Wouldn't it be nice if each Masonic jurisdiction had a way to allow the individual lodges to all have the same committees, appendant bodies, chairs etc? Well, there is!
How it works:
First, Lodge Membership software stores all it's data (membership progress, membership dues, candidate progress, committees, appendant bodies etc) in a data file that ends with .FMPUR. (you can see the .fmpur file in the folder that holds the Lodge Membership application program file). If your 'jurisdiction' wants to use a standardized set of information tables (Committees, Appendant Bodies, Proficiencies, Chairs etc), then, you can IMPORT that information into your application using the 'Edit / Import Jurisdiction Tables'' command. For example, if you want the set of Committees, Appendant Bodies, Chairs etc ... used in Missouri District 14, you would:
1) Cick on that name (below) and download the .FMPUR file. (In .ZIP file format) 2) Unzip the FMPUR file. 3) Then you would open Lodge Membership and click the 'Edit / Import Jurisdiction Tables' menu command. Browse to the previously downloaded .FMPUR file, select it and press <Enter>. Note: The import DOES NOT contain any membership, dues or other information specific to your lodge. But, it will delete all existing Lodge Setup values, Committees, Proficiencies etc and replace them with the corresponding values of the imported .fmpur data file. If you want your state or district jurisdiction to be included, just send me your jurisdiction's .FMPUR file and I will remove the member information and make it available on this site; or you can remove the member information.
